Interactive Text Visualization Browser

We have developed an interactive, visual survey of text visualization techniques, called Text Visualization Browser. This web-based system supports, for instance, the identification of related work or open research questions which are uncovered so far. All contained text visualization techniques were manually classified, and the tool provides features for searching and filtering.

More information can be found in the corresponding poster paper accepted for presentation at VIS 2014 in Paris, France.

Kostiantyn Kucher and Andreas Kerren will present our poster "Visual Analysis of Stance Markers in Online Social Media" at the VAST section of the 25th annual IEEE VIS conference in Paris, France, 9-14 November 2014.

The authors would like to thank Teri Schamp-Bjerede and Afshin Rahimi for their input and feedback. The research was funded by the StaViCTA grant from Swedish Research Council (Vetenskapsrådet).

Afshin Rahimi is awarded MUMIA's scholarship to attend the training school in this summer.The school is organized by FORTH and the IC1002 COST Action MUMIA (Multilingual and Multifaceted Interactive Information Access).
