A plugin for the VANTED system, called Glyph-based Link Exploration of Pathways (GLIEP). It helps to guide the navigation and exploration process of interconnected pathway visualization as well as insight into the overall interconnectivity. Available on SourceForge.
Ontologies and hierarchical clustering are both important tools in biology and medicine to study high-throughput data such as transcriptomics and metabolomics data. Our tool CluMa-GO visualizes a large data set in the context of the Gene Ontology (GO) under consideration of a clustering of the data. Available on SourceForge.
Demos
This D3-based software demo shows a solution of an interactive visualization of multivariate data set. The underlying data was taken from a whiskey database.
J. Maushagen developed for his bachelor's thesis a web-based visualization of co-authorship networks at LNU. The visualization encompasses several views: each shows different aspects of the data which is loaded from Academic Archive Online (DiVa), a library system which holds all LNU publications. The tool is available here. This web-based application was built by using JavaScript and D3.
